Cam Waters has more street circuit wins than any 2026 driver

Ending an eight-race dry spell on the Gold Coast would do a great deal in pushing Cam Waters towards an elusive Supercars championship crown.
After a mid-season surge, Waters fell back to earth with a run of four consecutive rounds with no silverware, across Perth, Ipswich, Tailem Bend and Bathurst.
In that stretch, Waters fell from third to sixth overall, with Tickford Racing poring over the data after a troubled and nondescript Bathurst campaign.
While he's in the danger zone heading to the all-important Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, street circuits are Waters' forté. Of current drivers, no one has more wins on street circuits than Waters, who is also a two-time winner in Surfers Paradise.
While a win automatically progresses any of the Finals Drivers through to the next round, Waters will be hoping he can claw back the consistency he enjoyed in Darwin and Townsville.
"I’m pumped to be going to Gold Coast for the start of the Finals," Waters said.
"We have had a good reset as a team after Bathurst and excited to head to a track where we have been strong as a team.
"This track offers some great racing and it’s always pretty on edge as we fly these cars through the GC streets so it should be some fun, we will put on a good show for the fans."
The team have had strong form in the past at Gold Coast, claiming a 1-2 finish with Waters and Thomas Randle in 2024, whilst the latter also started on the front row last year, though is out of 2026 championship equations.
Waters is also the only current driver with wins on the three street circuits on the 2026 calendar, namely Townsville, Gold Coast and Adelaide.
The Monster Ford star sits just 18 points ahead of eighth placed Chaz Mostert, who won both Gold Coast races last year.
On-track action kicks off with dual practice sessions and Boost Mobile Qualifying on Friday.
