Supercars stars commit to 2027 Race of Champions
Brodie Kostecki, Will Brown and Chaz Mostert confirmed
2027 ROC event to take place in Wellington, New Zealand
Supercars champions Brodie Kostecki, Will Brown and Chaz Mostert will contest the 2027 Race of Champions in New Zealand.
Mostert, Brown and Kostecki — the last three Supercars champions — will tackle the 2027 ROC in Wellington in January.
Reigning champion Mostert was confirmed last week, along with Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel, F1 driver Valtteri Bottas, and rally star Hayden Paddon.
The Supercars stars acquitted themselves against the world’s best in 2025 in Sydney.
Notably, Mostert finished runner-up to nine-time World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb in the individual competition.
"I had such a good time at ROC in 2025, and having Will and Chaz there made it even better,” Kostecki said.
“We go at it hard enough in Supercars, so getting to race them again in something completely different was a lot of fun. I jumped at the chance to be part of it again.
“Wellington’s a new challenge, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the track throws at us, and to going wheel-to-wheel with some of the best drivers in the world again.”
Brown added: “It was one of the best weekends I’ve had outside of Supercars, and getting to go racing with Brodie there was a highlight – we’re rivals enough as it is on a Supercars weekend, so being teammates again on a track neither of us really knows was a different kind of fun.
“Getting the call to come back was an easy yes. Wellington looks like an incredible venue, and I can’t wait to line up again alongside a field like this.”
The 2026 Supercars season resumes in Bathurst on October 8-11.
