Brad Jones Racing could have three new Toyota Supras on track by the end of 2026, as the newest chassis build ramps up.
The Albury squad began 2026 with new Supras for Andre Heimgartner and recruit Cameron Hill, with Macauley Jones racing a converted Chevrolet Camaro.
BJR and Toyota homologation team Walkinshaw TWG Racing have already hit victory lane this season with the new car, with Heimgartner winning in Tasmania.
Heimgartner, who also suffered engine-related DNFs in Sydney and Townsville, is currently fighting to qualify for the Finals, while Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood are solidly placed inside the top 10.
Away from the track, BJR has been building up a third new Supra chassis, which could be brought into action after October's Repco Bathurst 1000.
The centre section of the new chassis — named BJR 021 — is nearing completion, with the team set to move onto constructing clips for the car before it gets painted.
BJR, Triple Eight Race Engineering, Walkinshaw TWG Racing, Dick Johnson Racing, Tickford Racing, Grove Racing and Erebus Motorsport have all debuted new cars this year. Tickford is also building another new car, earmarked for Thomas Randle.
"We're certainly well underway with our next Supra,” Brad Jones said in a team video.
“The boys have been beavering away on this while we've been away racing.
“This is, remember, just the centre section. So once this is complete, then the next part of the process is we'll make a new front clip and a new rear clip, and then it'll go and get painted.
“Exciting times. We hope to have this to a point where if we need it post Bathurst, even though it'll be a rush, we could actually build it into a car.”
Bryce Fullwood, Brad Vaughan and Jordan Boys will join Heimgartner, Hill and Macauley Jones respectively for the upcoming Ryco Enduro Cup, which commences at The Bend on September 11-13.
