Brown and Pastrana contested roll race at Mount Panorama
Will Brown has shed light on his starring role in the latest Gymkhana feature, which saw the Supercars champion take on Travis Pastrana at Mount Panorama.
Released Wednesday, the latest Gymkhana video, titled ‘Aussie Shred’, sees multi-disciplined superstar Pastrana go wild around Australia in a series of stunts, from Sydney to Broken Hill, and Bathurst.
The hallowed ground of Mount Panorama played a key role in the video, as did Supercars stars and their Gen3 cars.
Pastrana's Subaru Brataroo 9500 Turbo was released in front of a snarling pack of Supercars coming through McPhillamy Park, with the American drifting his way down the Mountain.
He then drew alongside Brown’s Red Bull Ampol Camaro, before the duo completed a roll race down to The Chase.

"We planned that we’d cruise down next to each other, let a couple of the other Supercars blaze past on the right side, and then he'd put his fingers out the window and we'd both up it,” Brown told Supercars.com.
“Surprisingly the cars were quite equal. We both thought we were both lifting or playing games, and we were both flat out trying to keep up with each other.
“The little Subaru was a little bit faster off the mark being an all-wheel drive, even from a rolling speed. Then we got going a bit more towards the end.”
In the final cut, Brown flies ahead through the kink at The Chase, as Pastrana slides off into the grass before taking off. However, the 2024 Supercars champion laughed that the Camaro and Brataroo got too close for comfort in the first take.
"The first take was a little bit harder. It was tighter and closer through the kink there, so it was a little bit of an ‘oh shit’ moment,” Brown said.
"I remember him just drifting off the track and he was sliding through the dirt. It was really cool.”
Former Subaru World Rally Championship driver Chris Atkinson and Dakar Rally winner Toby Price also made cameos, with the video approaching one million views at the time of publication.
Brown idolised Pastrana in his youth, and became friends at March’s Race of Champions in Sydney. The two keep in touch, Pastrana now an active Supercars follower between his own commitments.
“It was great to catch up with him. He's an absolute legend. We became friends with him at Race of Champions and we’ve kept in contact ever since,” Brown said.
“It’s awesome to be involved and to know the guy. I rode motorbikes from age two to age 13 before I raced go-karts, and he was the guy we used to all look up to.
“He messaged me when I went over to the States for the NASCAR race. He definitely keeps up to date with what we're doing. He's interested in all forms of motorsport and it's cool to see someone that's so engaged.”
Brown will commence his 2026 Supercars campaign in Sydney on February 20-22. International viewers can watch on SuperView.
