Queenslander to start 2026 Supercars season in Sydney in February
Will Brown has already started preparation to win his championship back in 2026 following a monster year of racing and travel.
Brown was a man on a mission in 2025, complementing his Supercars commitments with cameos in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship, Bathurst 12 Hour, NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, TCR World Tour and even the Race of Champions.
The Queenslander had also planned a shared assault on the GT World Challenge Australia circuit with Supercars teammate Broc Feeney and Brad Schumacher, before withdrawing due to clashes.
The Red Bull Ampol Racing driver started the year with five straight weeks of racing in New Zealand in the famed Formula Regional Oceania Championship, and won the New Zealand Grand Prix.
He then steered an Arise Racing Ferrari in the Bathurst 12 Hour, before commencing his Supercars title defence in Sydney. Between Sydney and Melbourne, he also contested the Race of Champions in Sydney.

A second NASCAR Cup Series cameo in Chicago in July followed a week-long preparation stint in the United States, where he returned in August for an Xfinity debut in Portland.
Throw in the mix a surprise TCR World Tour cameo in China in November, and Brown was a busy man, so much so that he is determined to put more time into himself this summer.
Away from racing, Brown is a used car salesman in Toowoomba, is an avid pilot, and even took in the Deniliquin Ute Muster before Bathurst, where he braved a rolled ankle.
Alongside his own personal flights, though, Brown has been racking up the frequent flyer points, and is keen for a breather.
“To be honest, I’m looking forward to an off-season with no racing,” Brown told Supercars.com.
“All the preparation for next year starts now. I'm going to be training and using this time to get myself fit and get a good base for the start of the new season.

"This year's been a very busy year for me, doing so much extra racing. I think it's good just to have a bit of a break, do the training and just come back refreshed.
"I'll certainly enjoy spending some time with the family, but 2026 starts now for me."
The off-season comes at a good time for Brown, who along with Feeney, will race a Ford in 2026 amid Triple Eight's blockbuster switch to the Blue Oval.
Brown is keen to get his first crack in a Triple Eight Mustang, given Fords won seven of the last nine races in 2025.
“I'm looking forward to getting in the Ford,” the 27-year-old said.
“They've obviously been fast towards the end of the year and I think we'll be super fast in them."
The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship commences in Sydney on February 20-22. Tickets for the majority of 2026 events are on sale now.
