Supercars has bolstered its digital offering with the addition of championship-winning engineer Scott Sinclair, who will provide expert data insights and analysis throughout the 2025 season.

Sinclair is one of the most respected voices in pit lane, famously engineering James Courtney to the 2010 drivers' championship with Dick Johnson Racing.

He also spent stints at the Holden Racing Team and Kelly Racing, and was an independent on the Supercars Commission.

Sinclair joined the Supercars team at the end of 2024 in a data engineering capacity with the broadcast team.

In 2025, Sinclair returns as an expert data analyst, and will contribute exclusive written pre- and post-round analysis for every round in the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, which is free for all My Supercars members.

Sinclair joins Supercars Hall of Famer Craig Lowndes as a regular columnist on Supercars.com.

Sinclair will also unpack the biggest talking points of each round in analysis videos, using data to paint a picture of the defining moments of this year's championship. Videos will be shared across the Supercars website and official YouTube channel.

His first video, centred on the rise of Tickford Racing and how it dominated in Sydney, it available to watch now.

"I’m very excited to be able to bring fans closer to what’s happening on and off the track,” Sinclair said.

"The sport is built on data. Teams utilise data to analyse their own performance. As drivers and teams battle it out, the data tells the full story.

"I worked with teams for 14 years, and had four years out of the sport by the time I finished on the Commission. After that, I really enjoyed watching the racing as a fan.

"Coming back into the sport, I really want to utilise that understanding of the inner sanctum, and be able to convey that to the fans."

Track action at the upcoming Melbourne SuperSprint will commence on Thursday April 13.
