Red Bull introduce a fan-designed livery for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500
Livery draws inspiration from the Gold Coast region
New look one of a number of initiatives for the team and local star Broc Feeney
Red Bull Ampol Racing have unveiled a special Gold Coast-themed livery for this weekend's Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.
The result of a competition that invited fans to create a design for the bonnet and roof of both Broc Feeney and Will Brown's Camaros, the winning design pays homage to the beach culture of the Gold Coast region.
The design features several Gold Coast motifs in a bold blue on top of the team's traditional navy blue base, including palm trees, shells, and flowers.
Both Feeney and Brown enter the Repco Supercars Finals Series as two of the key contenders for this year's title, with Feeney leading the standings and Brown in third.

"We had a Red Bull can come out a couple of months ago, and as part of that we had a QR code on it where you could scan it and pretty much design a Supercar," said Feeney on Supercars' Pit Lane Preview.
"The bonnet and the roof for this round are different, we had some awesome designs come in to be honest.
"This is a bit of a tribute to the Goldie, it looks really good in the sun, it really pops.
"When you see it on paper it looks nice, but you get it in the sun and it looks awesome, so trying to celebrate Gold Coast a little bit once again thanks to Red Bull."
It's one of a number of initiatives and collaborations that have involved Feeney in the lead-up to his home event.
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Feeney was honoured with a special mural on Cavill Street in the heart of Surfers Paradise that was unveiled yesterday afternoon.
The mural was painted by local artist Gus Eagleton, and was created using solely aerosol, with the mural depicting one of his 12 wins for the season to date.
He has also been involved with two clothing collaborations, creating a special limited edition cap with Locked Down, and also a limited edition shirt in collaboration with both Culture Kings and Red Bull Ampol Racing.
Both cars will be on track when practice begins at Surfers Paradise on Friday. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
