PremiAir Racing confirms Jayden Ojeda as Richie Stanaway replacement
Stanaway's immediate exit was announced by PremiAir on Wednesday
Ojeda will step into the #62 PremiAir Camaro at Sandown next month
Rising star Jayden Ojeda will make an early debut for PremiAir Racing, following the abrupt exit of Richie Stanaway.
Ojeda will step into the #62 PremiAir Chevrolet Camaro, which has been vacated by Stanaway, for the remainder of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship.
Stanaway's immediate exit was announced by the team on Wednesday, with the Chevrolet team revealing incoming 2026 driver Ojeda as the replacement on Thursday.
Ojeda will race alongside Blanchard Racing Team-bound James Golding for the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and bp Adelaide Grand Final.
Ojeda has made 15 Supercars race starts, for Garry Rogers Motorsport, Matt Stone Racing, Erebus Motorsport and Walkinshaw Andretti United. The 26-year-old will make his first solo Supercars start since his wildcard appearance for WAU at the 2022 Darwin Triple Crown.

The Sydneysider was one of the drivers of the race at the Repco Bathurst 1000 earlier this month, putting primary driver Ryan Wood in the box seat to win the race before an untimely engine issue.
It's the second mid-season driver change following Aaron Cameron's call-up with Blanchard Racing Team, which parted ways with Aaron Love after Round 1.
A team statement reads: "PremiAir Racing confirms that Jayden Ojeda will take over driving duties of the #62 PremiAir Racing Camaro for the remainder of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship season.
"This update follows the team’s recent announcement of an all-new driver line-up for 2026, which will see Ojeda and Declan Fraser join PremiAir Racing in full-time roles next year.
"Jayden will take to the track in the #62 Camaro at the upcoming Sandown 500 and Adelaide Grand Final, gaining valuable experience ahead of his first full-time Supercars campaign with the team in 2026.
"PremiAir Racing remains focused on developing emerging talent and building a strong foundation for future success in the Repco Supercars Championship."
The 2025 Repco Supercars Finals Series resumes at Sandown on November 14-16. Tickets are on sale now.
