Will Davison has been confirmed at Penrite Racing for 2026
Two-time Bathurst winner recently exited full-time Supercars arena
Davison, Tim Slade form all-new Penrite Racing enduro line-up
Will Davison has been confirmed at Penrite Racing for 2026, with the two-time Bathurst 1000 winner signing an Enduro Cup deal.
The outgoing Shell V-Power Racing Team driver has scored a drive with the reigning Bathurst-winning team, which has seen Garth Tander retire and Dale Wood depart.
The acquisition of Davison completes Penrite Racing’s 2026 driver line-up, following the recent announcement of Tim Slade also joining the team.
Retiring drivers Davison, James Courtney (Team 18) and Nick Percat (Red Bull Ampol Racing) have all found new teams for 2026, having departed the full-time arena in 2025.
The 2026 enduros will be Davison's first as a co-driver since 2020, when he raced to second with Cam Waters and Tickford Racing after his 23Red Racing deal closed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ford squad will confirm its driver pairings in due course.

“I am absolutely delighted to join the team at Grove Racing in this next phase and chapter of my career," Davison said.
"I have been admiring the progression of this team from afar over the last few years and it’s clear they mean business, which was proven by their success throughout this season, at Bathurst and during their finals campaign.
"Thanks to Brenton and Stephen Grove and Garth Tander for making this happen. I love their vision and I am excited to be part of that journey going forwards.
"I can’t wait to get to work with Matt [Payne] and Kai [Allen] and two engineers I enjoyed great success with in the past Grant McPherson and Al McVean.”
Davison was engineered to second in the 2009 championship by McVean during his stint at the Holden Racing Team. He also worked with McPherson at Ford Performance Racing, now known as Tickford.
Grove Racing CEO Brenton Grove added: "I’m thrilled to welcome Will Davison to the Grove Racing family. Will brings exceptional experience, a proven winning pedigree and an unwavering commitment to excellence - qualities that align perfectly with who we are as a team.
"His signing reflects our intent to continue strengthening our capability and performance.
"Will is the ideal addition to our program, bringing experience and insight that will strengthen the entire team. Including Matt and Kai."
