Ryan Wood vows to deliver Chaz Mostert the 2025 championship
Mostert to fight for 2025 crown against Broc Feeney, Will Brown, Kai Allen

Ryan Wood has vowed to "do everything we can" to deliver a championship for Walkinshaw Andretti United teammate Chaz Mostert.
Mostert will fight for the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship against Triple Eight duo Broc Feeney and Will Brown, and Penrite Racing rookie Kai Allen, at this weekend's bp Adelaide Grand Final.
The driver with the highest championship points total after Sunday's race will be crowned 2025 champion.
Wood played a key role in getting his teammate to Adelaide in the first place, playing the perfect rear-gunner role in the Sandown opener to deny a racy Brown a shot at Mostert.
Post-race, Mostert pledged to return the favour to Wood, who celebrated over team radio as the race ended: "We're going to Adelaide with Chazzy!"
Wood is set to play an even greater role this weekend as Mostert aims to claim his first Supercars title in what is his 13th full-time season.
“I can’t believe the 2025 season is almost over, it’s been a year to remember, ticking off a lot of firsts; first podium, first race win, first pole," Wood said in a team release.
“Maverick and Goose will be back in action this weekend, we have one goal as a team and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen.
“We will be leaving nothing on the table this weekend, it’s time to put on one final show for the fans in 2025.”
After a rollercoaster regular season, Mostert exploded into form in The Finals, sweeping the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 before clinching his Adelaide spot in the Sandown opener.
Supercars fans are backing Mostert in, despite Feeney claiming his 13th win of the season in the Sandown finale
“Car 25 in 2025 has a nice ring to it! This weekend let’s make it happen," said Mostert, who has started 379 races.
“We have been working all year building our car for this weekend, we have come on strong when it really matters, let’s get the chocolates.
“I am so proud of how far we have come as a team over the last few years, there is no other group of people I would want to be fighting for a championship with.”
Track action in Adelaide commences on Thursday November 27.
