Red Bull Ampol Racing accounted for half of the in-race penalties on Saturday at the DUNLOP Sydney 500.
Broc Feeney and Will Brown finished sixth and 15th in Race 2, having both been forced to hold for 15 seconds at their second stops.
Both transgressions occurred with the race neutralised by the Shannons Safety Car, with Feeney (unsafe release) and Brown (pit stop infringement) both delayed.
Feeney was released into the path of James Golding, with Race Control notifying the field after the restart that the #88 Red Bull Ampol Ford had attracted a penalty.
Per the stewards report: "The vision showed Car 88 was released from its Pit Bay and attempted to merge into the fast lane when Car 7 was already wholly in the fast lane. Car 7 was impeded by Car 88 and contact occurred. The Stewards impose a penalty consistent with previous breaches of a similar nature."
The rear wheels of Brown's #888 Red Bull Ampol Ford was seen to be rotating during its pit stop before the car was lowered to the ground.
It was an infringement of Rule D11.8.9, namely: "During any Pit Stop, from the time the Car leaves the ground until the Car has returned to the ground, the brake lock mechanism must be engaged, so as the rear wheels do not rotate."
The report reads: "The Stewards reviewed broadcast vision in conjunction with the DSA. The vision showed the rear right wheel of Car 888 rotating during its Pit Stop before it was lowered to the ground. The Stewards determine that Rule D11.8.9 was breached and impose a penalty consistent with previous breaches of a similar nature."
Thomas Randle was pinged five seconds for exceeding track limits, while PremiAir Racing was fined and docked 30 teams' championship points after Jayden Ojeda was dropped before the rear right wheel was secured to the hub.
As a result, the wheel came loose in pit lane, and hit Zach Bates' #10 Bendix Chevrolet.
Pre-race, Walkinshaw TWG Racing was fined and docked points over a pit lane infringement during Boost Mobile Qualifying.
