Perkins thanks BRT amid Triple Eight/SCT links

Jack Perkins has thanked Blanchard Racing Team following his departure from the Ford squad.

The second-generation driver raced alongside James Courtney in 2024 and 2025, and also contested a successful part-time Super2 campaign with BRT in 2024.

Before their BRT reunion, the Courtney/Perkins combination delivered a Gold Coast win and Bathurst podium with Walkinshaw Andretti United, formerly Holden Racing Team.

Courtney/Perkins looked set to add to their strong history together in Bathurst in October, only for gearbox failure to bring an end to their spirited run.

It came after an impressive string of NASCAR Xfinity Series cameos for Perkins with Joe Gibbs Racing, which kept him sharp for the year’s longest Supercars races.

Perkins, 39, has since been linked to the SCT Logistics/Triple Eight co-drive alongside rookie Jackson Walls for the 2026 enduros.

The 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 would be Perkins' 21st Great Race start.

Amid the Perkins/SCT links, the 2026 Ryco Enduro Cup field continues to take shape, with 13 confirmed co-drivers among 25 enduro entries next year.

On social media, Perkins paid tribute to BRT, writing: “Thanks to everyone at Blanchard Racing Team for the last two years.

“We all put in the effort and hard work and I wish Tim Blanchard, JB [John Blanchard] and the whole team success and some good luck in the future.

“The highlight was definitely last year’s two-race Super2 campaign with an awesome Shaw and Partners retro livery and grabbing two race wins, a round win and two pole positions.

“Bathurst this year still stings as we could’ve been on for a great result until gearbox failure.

“But it was awesome to partner my mate James Courtney in his last two full time seasons.”
