Cam Waters and Anton de Pasquale have taken a drive of a different kind, with the star drivers steering their Supercars on brand new Melbourne roads.
Waters and De Pasquale took their respective Tickford Racing Ford and Team 18 Chevrolet along the new Wurundjeri Way extension and elevated ramp connecting CityLink to Footscray Road.
The new roads, part of the Allan Labor Government’s West Gate Tunnel Project, will open later this year.
The new roads will transform how people move between Melbourne’s west and the city.
It comes as drivers and teams prepare for Round 2 of the Repco Supercars Championship at Albert Park.
The Melbourne SuperSprint returns as the main support for the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025, including a standalone race day Thursday as part Round 2 of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship.
