David Reynolds to debut new-look TRADIE Energy livery in Perth
New pink livery to run at Perth, Darwin, Townsville, and Ipswich
2017 Bathurst winner 17th in standings after tough start to 2025
Team 18 have unveiled a new look for David Reynolds' TRADIE Energy Camaro for the second half of the Repco Sprint Cup.
Having run a fluorescent yellow and silver look for the opening four rounds of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, the 2017 Bathurst winner will sport a pink and silver livery from this weekend's Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440.
The livery will remain on the car for the remaining sprint rounds of the season in Darwin, Townsville, and Ipswich.
The new look promotes TRADIE Energy's Creamy Soda flavour, the yellow livery used in the opening four events having promoted the brand's Lemon Squash product.
39-year-old Reynolds will be hoping the new look brings about a change in fortunes in what has been a difficult start to his 2025 season.
Reynolds secured his first two top 10 finishes of the year at the last round in Tasmania, and is 17th in the standings, 182 points behind Ryan Wood on the Finals bubble.
“I've got a pink car this weekend, it’s a brand-new livery for the Creamy Soda TRADIE Energy flavour, which is always cool and exciting. It’s very bright, so you won’t miss me on the track," said Reynolds.
“I like going to Perth. It's a good track, it's quite a small track, quite basic, but the elements are quite difficult to get everything correct.
“I've had success there in the past. When your car works really well it's quite easy to turn a fast lap time there. Last year we struggled a little bit at the start, but then we got better towards the end of the weekend. So I think we've got a good starting base heading over this year.
“I'm looking forward to it, we're back on the new Soft tyre. So we've gone on the Soft tyre, then there's one run on the Super Soft and then there's most of the racing on the Soft tyre.
"That's, the tyre gives a bit more grip. So it's going to be interesting to see where we roll, but I'm looking forward to it.”
The Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440 begins with two practice sessions on Friday at 12:05pm AWST/2:05pm AEST and 1:55pm AEST/3:55pm AEST.
