BJR reveals new Taupō look, sponsor for Bryce Fullwood
Mr Umami comes onboard with striking orange livery for New Zealand
Fullwood sits 20th in points heading to ITM Taupō Super 440
Brad Jones Racing has uncovered a new look and sponsor for Bryce Fullwood’s #14 Chevrolet Camaro, which will hit the track in New Zealand this weekend.
Australian food brand Mr Umami, based in South Australia, will take naming rights for Fullwood’s car for the ITM Taupō Super 440.
Mr Umami, renowned for its oyster mushroom-based products, will take pride of place on the #14 entry, complete with a striking orange colour scheme.
It comes as part of a multi-round collaboration between BJR and Mr Umami, which will also provide nutritious, protein-packed meals for Fullwood and the BJR crew this season.
It’s the second new look for BJR in New Zealand, with the Albury team revealing a tweaked Wendy’s scheme for Macauley Jones’ car.
"This car looks amazing, I can’t wait to see it on track,” said Fullwood, who ran Middy’s pink in Sydney and Shure green in Melbourne.
“Mr Umami and their team have been great to work with and it was amazing to meet Ken and have a chat to him about racing and his products. You can really sense his passion both about racing and being part of our team and for the Mr Umami brand.
“I can’t wait to bite into another one of their burgers at the track. It’s the perfect feed at the end of a long day of driving.”
Mr Umami creator Ken King said: “I grew up loving food, farming, and fast cars. So, this partnership is more than branding — it’s a shared passion for performance, precision, and pushing boundaries.
"Just like a great race car, our food is built with intention—high quality, finely tuned, and made to perform.
"It’s a real thrill to see Mr Umami out there on the track with Bryce and the BJR team.”
The Mr Umami Camaro will hit the track on Friday for Practice 1 at 11:45am NZST/9:45am AEST.
