  • Most racing laps for Supercars in Melbourne in six years

Supercars is set for more racing laps at this year's Melbourne SuperSprint, which will feature at the upcoming Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025.

The Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit will host the second round of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, with four races to be held over four huge days in Melbourne.

Supercars will race on all four days of the March 13-16 event, which will also open the new F1, Formula 2 and Formula 3 seasons. Tickets to the Melbourne event are on sale now, with Supercars fans able to see a whopping five track sessions on Thursday March 13, including Race 4 of the 2025 season.

F2 and F3 will join Supercars in racing on Saturday and Sunday, before the showpiece Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix race on Sunday afternoon.

There will be up to 71 combined laps across the four Supercars sprints, the most since 2018 and 2019. The four races in 2022 and 2024 had 66 combined scheduled laps, while 2023 was 66.

The Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the event will feature 19-lap Supercars races, with Sunday's pre-Grand Prix sprint to be held over 14 heart-stopping laps.

Supercars, F2 and F3 will share the support card with Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia, which will commence its 2025 campaign at the Thrifty Sydney 500 - Opening Round.

Will Brown, Broc Feeney and Nick Percat shared the four wins at last year's Grand Prix event, with eventual Supercars champion Brown taking home the Larry Perkins Trophy.
