Jay Hanson will carry a striking new black livery for his second Super2 season.

Erebus Academy driver Hanson revealed his livery for the 2023 Super2 season opener in Newcastle.

Hanson raced a predominately white livery for his debut season in 2022.

The black car also features striking blue detailing throughout the design, with the teenager carrying the #49 this season.

Ingal Civil products will feature on both doors of the #49 Commodore for the opening round before shifting to the front guards for the remainder of the season.

The #49 Commodore also features backing from JD Printing, Cowbiz and Australian Barriers.

“It’s really exciting to head into a new season and my second season of Super2 with some great partners,” Hanson said.

“Ingal Civil, Pana Group and AA Holdings have supported me throughout my whole karting career and have followed me through my transition to cars.

“I’m also welcoming Sunbury Denture Clinic and Glade Civil.

"It’s great to see them on board, the livery looks great and I’m really excited to see it on track tomorrow.”

Dunlop Series action at the Thrifty Newcastle 500 will commence with Practice 1 at 10:10am local time on Friday.
