Super3 stalwart Tony Auddino is set to return to the Dunlop Series, announcing plans of a new collaboration with Image Racing and Erebus Motorsport.

Auddino recently raced in the Dunlop Series in 2022, and last year competed in the Kumho V8 Touring Car Series. Racing a Ford BF Falcon, Auddino finished fifth overall.

Auddino only competed in one Super3 round in 2021, but returned for the majority of 2022, and finished 10th in class.

The Auddino/Image/Erebus collaboration is set to debut at Round 2 in Perth, which will be held on May 17-19.

Auddino announced he will keep his #4, but will swap the Falcon for a Holden VF Commodore, and will receive engineering support from Erebus.

Image and Erebus are already in collaboration in the Dunlop Series, with 2023 Super3 champion Jobe Stewart and Jarrod Hughes both impressing at the season-opening Thrifty Bathurst 500.

The Image/Erebus relationship also helped put Stewart through an evaluation day in Todd Hazelwood's Gen3 Camaro at Winton Motor Raceway earlier this month.

"We are excited to announce we are teaming up with Image Racing the 2023 Super3 series winners,” the Auddino camp posted to social media.

"The car will be a collaboration between Auddino Racing #4 and Image Racing with engineer support from Erebus Motorsport."

Kai Allen leads the Super2 standings after winning both Bathurst races, while MW Motorsport fielded the two Super3 entries for Cody Burcher and Thomas Maxwell.
