Dunlop Series - Qualifying Race 2 Highlights Townsville

Jack Le Brocq claimed his second ARMOR ALL Pole Position for the weekend looking make a break in the Championship points. 

The young gun is showing he has the goods to take control of the  Dunlop Series, finishing with the best lap time in qualifying for the third time this weekend with his 1min.14.2secs lap.

Veteran Paul Dumbrell put his best foot forward, taking the front of the grid alongside Le Brocq for Race Two this afternoon in Townsville. The Eggleston racer was 0.3sec behind Le Brocq.

Garry Jacobson kept his pace in qualifying, securing position three and closing the gap with teammate rival Le Brocq to 0.4sec.

Young gun Macauley Jones made his Dunlop Series debut in 2014 at Townsville and is demonstrating his familiarity with the track this weekend.

Jones has had success in Townsville previously and is on track to finish in top five in all three Dunlop Series races this weekend.

Less than a second separated the top 14 in the session. 

The Dunlop Series will be back on-track for the final race of the weekend this afternoon at 2:50pm in Townsville.
