Dunlop Super2 Series driver Andrew Jones will continue to compete in the championship with the backing of Alliance Truck Parts.

The company remains on-board for the third consecutive season with the veteran campaigner continuing in the striking yellow Holden Commodore.

Jones finished sixth in last year’s Dunlop Series, using the Next Gen car for the first time in the series.

“I’m always looking forward to getting in my Alliance Truck Parts Commodore, we’ll be at Winton testing tomorrow and then the Clipsal 500 event will be here before we know it,” Jones said.

“I have no doubt our cars will again be competitive and we can be fighting for race wins and podiums.

“It’s a nice change for the Dunlop Super2 Series to be racing at Symmons Plains and Sydney Motorsport Park this year.

“The competition will be tough as always and I have no doubt we’ll put on a great show for the fans, with some of those people seeing the Alliance Truck Parts Commodore live in their hometown for the first time.

“It’s such an exciting brand and each time we visit the team they are always showing us new products from their increasing range.

“Alliance Truck Parts continues to grow and it’s exciting to be a part of that journey with them.”

Alliance Truck Parts Manager, Greg Lovrich added the car’s look is one of the standout ones in the field.

“What a great looking car,” he said.

“We loved the striking paint scheme from last season, but this new look is even better and even tougher.

“We think Alliance Truck Parts customers will get a big buzz watching their car mix it with the best racers in Australia with Andrew at the wheel.”
