Scott Pye joins Supercars broadcast for Ipswich round
2024 Sandown 500 winner returns alongside Will Brown for enduros
Mark Winterbottom also returns after Perth broadcast cameo
Supercars race winner Scott Pye will feature on the broadcast at the upcoming Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.
Pye, who will rejoin reigning champion Will Brown for this year's Enduro Cup races with Triple Eight Race Engineering, will join the broadcast team in a select hostings role at the August 8-10 event.
Veteran racer Pye is ranked 27th all-time on race starts with 342, and has claimed two wins and 12 podiums across a career that began back in the 2012 enduros.
Between 2013 and 2023, Pye raced full-time for Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, DJR Team Penske, Walkinshaw Andretti United and, most recently, Team 18.
The 35-year-old, who won last year's Sandown 500 alongside Brown, has grown his media profile as co-host of the Apex Hunters United podcast alongside fellow racer Elliot Barbour.
Pye will be joined on the Ipswich broadcast by 2015 champion Mark Winterbottom, who previously joined the broadcast team in a special comments role.
Winterbottom and Pye were teammates at Team 18 between 2020 and 2023, before the former transitioned to co-driving last year. Winterbottom has followed suit this year, partnering Cam Waters at Tickford Racing.
The Repco Sprint Cup segment of the 2025 season concludes at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 on August 8-10 at Queensland Raceway.
All practice, qualifying and race sessions are ad free and live on Foxtel and streamed live on Kayo. The Seven Network will have highlights on Saturday and Sunday.
