Pye and Ambrose return to Shell Helix livery

DJR Team Penske announced today that Shell Helix will return as primary branding partner of the No. 17 Pye/Ambrose Ford in the top-end double-header, the SKYCITY Triple Crown Darwin in a fortnight's time and the Castrol EDGE Townsville 400 in early July.

"Shell Helix has been a great partner of the team for many years and it will be fantastic to see the Shell Helix Falcon back on track in Darwin and Townsville," DJR Team Penske managing director Ryan Story said.

"Since Adelaide, we have seen our off-track partnership with Shell Helix evolve with the development of a technical program for lubricants to improve our engine and drive train performance. We are able to both channel Shell's technical capabilities and resources, as well as Team Penske's extensive experience, with similar programs in place with their NASCAR and INDYCAR programs."

DJR Team Penske will head to Darwin with driver Scott Pye racing the chassis which made its debut at the 2014 Sydney 500 with Marcos Ambrose. Ambrose will return to driving duties in Darwin, cutting some laps in Friday's practice sessions.
