The NTI Transporter Parade will once again kickstart celebrations for the NTI Townsville 500, and this year, via a new route.
Next Wednesday, 5th July, transporters carrying more than 25-million dollars’ worth of Supercars equipment will make their way through the streets of Townsville and fans are being urged to line the streets to welcome their favourite teams to town before they reach pit lane at Reid Park.
The transporters will align from around midday on the corner of Ingham Drive and Webb Road.
The procession carrying all 25 Repco Supercars Championship Mustangs and Camaros will turn left from Webb Drive onto Ingham Road, followed by a left turn onto Percy Street.

Around 1pm the procession will make its way onto Saunders Street, passing by Cowboys’ Stadium and onto the Reid Park circuit precinct.
In addition to the transporter parade, a dedicated Fan Zone will be established at the Townsville sign in Central Park near Palmer Street.
