Supercars star Chaz Mostert will enter team ownership next year, with his new customer McLaren GT team to debut at Mount Panorama.
The Walkinshaw Andretti United driver has joined forces with Guy McEntyre and Gareth Whiteley to form Method Motorsport.
Method Motorsport will field McLaren GT4 cars in Australia next season, with the team team set to debut at the 2024 Bathurst 12 Hour.
It will also compete in a national GT4 programme with a pair of McLaren Artura GT4 cars, complete with official McLaren customer squad backing.
Mostert, while a Supercars star, also boasts a strong record in GT racing. Notably, Mostert has Rolex 24 and Spa 24 victories to his name. For Method Motorsport, however, Mostert will be a co-owner and driver coach.

Team Principal McEntyre and Team Manager Whiteley will oversee the team alongside Mostert, who is sixth in the Supercars standings heading to this weekend’s Repco Bathurst 1000.
Method Motorsport will announce its driver line-up in due course.
