Marathon races headline Townsville schedule
Supercars' forthcoming round in Townsville will be headlined by dual 88-lap affairs.
The NTI Townsville 500 will be held at the Reid Park Street Circuit on July 8-10. Click here to view the full track schedule.
Repco Supercars Championship action will feature on all three days of the North Queensland event.
Supercars will be supported by the Dunlop Series, Porsche Carrera Cup, Touring Car Masters and Toyota 86.
Supercars will first hit the track for Practice 1 at 10:10am local time on Friday.
Both weekend days will feature ARMOR ALL Qualifying, a Top Ten Shootout and a 250km race.
The 250km, 88-lap marathons will be the first refuelling races since March's Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.
Gen3 demonstrations will also take place, with the 2023 cars making their Reid Park debut.
Gen3 cars last hit the track at an event at Albert Park in April.
The two Supercars races will be mixed compound affairs. Drivers are limited to one set of Super Soft tyres in each race.
The balance of the weekend and races will be held on the Hard compound.
The minimum tyre pressure has been increased from 17psi to 19psi.
