Get your speed fix at the Coates Hire Ipswich SuperSprint

The 'paperclip' is set to heat up when the V8 Supercars descend on Queensland Raceway for three practice sessions at the Coates Hire Ipswich SuperSprint.

The first practice session of the day will see additional drivers - usually the endurance co-drivers -step behind the wheel in an exclusive additional session. The 30-minute session will allow the co-drivers to cut some laps before endurance season arrives, without impeding on the teams' time to tune the car ahead of the weekend's racing.

Then the championship drivers will retake the wheel of their cars for two 60-minute practice sessions later in the day.

The start of the sessions has been delayed, due to fog - but the cars will take the to the track as soon as possible.

Thepaperclip will be busy also hostingFormula 4, Touring Car Masters and the V8 Supercars Dunlop Series, which all take to the track for practice today. The Sports GTs will also lay down some rubber, with practice and qualifying tomorrowat Queensland Raceway.

With your paddock pass, go behind the scenes and see all the off-track garage action in the V8 Supercars Paddock. Racegoers will be impressed by the talented teams as they work on the cars to make them go faster and be in awe of the purpose-built transporters that haul the V8 Supercars around the country. Have you cameras at the ready, you may even bump into some of the personalities of pit lane.

While you're there, meet the V8 Supercars stars of the future during the Dunlop Series driver autograph session. Get some autographs, take some pictures and wish your favourite drivers good luck during the 30-minute session.
