Frosty at Ipswich Drive-in Movies

Leading Pepsi Max Crew V8 Supercar driver Mark ‘Frosty’ Winterbottom gave Ipswich families a night to remember when he attended the Tivoli Drive-In tonight.

A special ‘free’ screening of the highly successful Disney-Pixar CARS 2 was on offer for all little cars fans and their families with a unique visit from Winterbottom. 

Winterbottom voiced his own character cameo role ‘Frosty’ in the Australian and New Zealand versions of the film, making him highly popular with young V8 Supercars fans.

The screening commenced at 6:30pm and fans were able to meet their favourite driver prior. Winterbottom said it was a fun night for the Ipswich community ahead of the Coates Hire Ipswich 360.

“It was great fun and a great initiative for families to have a free entertainment opportunity,” said Winterbottom.

“The kids were so excited and it’s a privilege to be able to spend time and meet some of them ahead of next weekend’s race.

“The Coates Hire Ipswich 360 is a great event for families and as drivers we enjoy racing at Queensland Raceway – it is an event with plenty of support from our fans.”

The free family night was bought to the Ipswich community by the Tivoli Drive-In, Ipswich City Council, Coates Hire and V8 Supercars.

The Coates Hire Ipswich 360 is supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland as part of a growing calendar of sporting, cultural and regional events throughout the state.

Tickets for the Coates Hire Ipswich 360 are available through Ticketek. Kids 12 and under receive free general admission with a paying adult and new junior and family ticketing options are available for event-goers aged 13 to 17.
