Are you a fan of the double file rolling restart? Today is the day to head to Phillip Island to see the cars tackle turn one after the half-time break.
Five of these split races have unfolded over the year, and while some have been uncertain about the gap mid-race, 28 V8 Supercars rumbling along in such tight formation has thrilled viewers.
Jamie Whincup is the only driver to have won two of these races this season, with Fabian Coulthard, Craig Lowndes and James Moffat also proving victorious with the 2013 format.
Who will win the final split race in V8 Supercars at the Sargent Security Phillip Island 360 today?
First up for the V8 Supercars is practice at 10.30am for all drivers, with qualifying soon after at 12.55pm local time.
Meanwhile, those in early and with paddock passes can head to the team garages at 9am for a half-hour session and all drivers available.
Formula Ford qualifying at 10.30am is the first on-track action, followed by the Australian Bike Super Pole.
All three support categories will run their first races, as well as two entertainment sessions on track featuring the Stuntz Inc team and Showtime Freestyle MotoX.
But it all leads to one thing – the main race, which kicks off at 3.45pm local time.
The event page has all the details of on-track showings and results as they feed through.
