Day one at the Island: What's on

There are 600 points left to gain before the 2014 V8 Supercars Championship ends, and the drivers will be racing to make every point count this weekend at the Plus Fitness Phillip Island 400.

But before tomorrow's 100km spints, teams will put every effort to their cars and drivers for thatChampionship fight when they take to the track for three 20-minute practice sessions today, kicking off at 10.05am.

The Sports GTs, Touring Car Masters and Aussie Racing Cars will also burn some rubber around the 4.4 kilometre circuit today, while the Showtime FMX crew and Aussie Bandit ute will perform their thrilling stunt shows on-track.

The Hot Wheels Stunt team's adrenalin-filled show will be on track tomorrow, but you can head on over to Merchandise Alley to check out their display and catch up with the team. While you're there, don't forget to get kitted out in your favourite V8 Supercars team's gear and show your support.

Catch all of this on-track action from pole position! The Park and View ticketing option returns this weekend to the Phillip Island 400, allowing you to enjoy all of the high-octane entertainment from the comfort of your own car. They can even bounce around in the Planes-themed inflatable zone, or build their own plane at the brand new Planes Hanger. Aspiring young racers can test their peddle power on the World Grand Prix Training track or at Lighting McQueen's awesome two-track inflatable slide.
