Schedule released for OTR SuperSprint

It’s official: Four races remain in the 2020 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

The track schedule for the OTR The Bend SuperSprint this weekend has been released, with a trio of Supercars races to decide half of the 600 championship points still available to any one driver.

The final lot of points will be handed out at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 next month.

Using The Bend Motorsport Park’s shorter West Circuit, each of the OTR SuperSprint races will consist of 32 laps, all run on soft compound Dunlop tyres.

The remainder of the main game format remains unchanged from the previous weekend, with the exception of first or second-year co-drivers being allowed to participate in the Saturday morning rookie-only practice.

Hyundai Excels and a Sports Cars field will make up the weekend’s two support categories.
