Jamie Whincup will become just the sixth driver to record 250 ATCC/Supercars round starts at this weekend's BP Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint.
The 2021 season will be Whincup's last as a full-time driver as he readies for a future in team management at Red Bull Ampol Racing.
The seven-time series champion is the 2021 season's most recent winner, having claimed victory in Race 25 last Sunday.
To this weekend's event, Whincup is 337 points behind teammate Shane van Gisbergen, who will make his 200th round start.
He is the most successful driver in history, with his seven championships, 124 race wins and 91 pole positions all records.
Supercars.com lists the milestone events and moments in Whincup's decorated career.
