Lee Holdsworth to partner GM star Anton De Pasquale at Bathurst
Holdsworth won 2021 race, finished on the podium in 2009 and 2025
Holdsworth has finished his last seven Bathurst 1000s in the top 10
Anton De Pasquale maintains veteran Lee Holdsworth is the "right guy" for the job at Bathurst, as General Motors aims to return serve at the Mountain.
De Pasquale has been Chevrolet's lead driver all season, and will share his #18 DEWALT Camaro with veteran Holdsworth at the Great Race.
While a veteran at 43, Holdsworth boasts quite the record at the Mountain. Holdsworth has finished his last seven Bathurst 1000s in the top 10, which is the longest streak in the field.
That includes victory with Chaz Mostert and Walkinshaw Andretti United in 2021, and a shock runner-up finish with David Reynolds and Team 18 last year.
Now in the #18 Chevrolet, Holdsworth is expected to play a perfect foil for his star driver, who locked in his Finals berth at The Bend last time out.

“Lee’s awesome,” De Pasquale told Supercars.com.
“He was within the team and we worked together last year, although he was in the other car. He's won Bathurst. He was obviously on the podium last year.
"He has a great resume through Supercars over a long period of time. He's really good to have around. He was good at The Bend. The race itself was just very chaotic, with the weather and everything.
“But especially in the dry, in practice and everything, the language we were speaking in and out of the car was all very similar. We're feeling pretty good together. He's the right guy for it.”
The De Pasquale/Holdsworth car had an action-packed run to seventh at The Bend, with Holdsworth one of many to spin in the torrid conditions. He was also penalised over a clash with Nick Percat.
Having secured his Finals spot, De Pasquale is keen to combine with the veteran and have a free swing at Bathurst.
"Locking Finals in before Bathurst was a goal we set out at the start of the year,” De Pasquale said.
"Bathurst is such a big race. You want to be able to treat it as its own, and having Finals gives you that opportunity as long as you're locked in.
"We can now separate that from the rest of the championship. You still want to have as many points as possible, for all the bonus points and however it works for the Finals.
"But knowing that you're in already is a good thing, we can attack that race. It’s a 300-point race, so effectively you never know how those things could go.”
