Macauley Jones will carry local backing in the form of TRG Transport Solutions this weekend.

TRG Transport Solutions has taken naming rights of the #96 Commodore for the OTR SuperSprint.

One of Australia’s largest transport companies, TRG previously occupied the front air intake of the car.

The company backed Todd Hazelwood’s #14 Commodore at the corresponding round in 2021.

"TRG has always been very proud of its community and is passionate about supporting local sporting events,” TRG Managing Director Tony Musolino said.

"Being South Australian-based, Tailem Bend is our ‘home' Supercars circuit.

“To once again be able to get our name out there in front of our community alongside a team like Brad Jones Racing is outstanding.

"Brad is a great operator and while this is not the first time we have sponsored a BJR car, 2022 has been the first time throwing our support behind Macauley in the 96 car.

"We’ve been really impressed with Macca, he’s had some very consistent results and showed some serious speed and maturity this season.

"The car is looking amazing and we’re really looking forward to the weekend and seeing what the team can do at The Bend."

Southern Contracting Group Pty Ltd, a family owned and operated business based in Lameroo, has also come onboard.

SCG operates a Bluestone Quarry in the nearby Adelaide hills.

SCG Director Matthew Ramke added: "It’s great to see us on the front of the #96 car.

“We’re really looking forward to getting out to The Bend this weekend and seeing Macauley and the whole team in action.”

Jones is 19th overall heading to this weekend’s round.

Cars will hit the track at the OTR SuperSprint on Saturday. Purchase your tickets now.
