Erebus Motorsport has announced Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki will remain with the team next season.

Brown and Kostecki, who debuted together in 2021, will stay on with Erebus for a third season.

The team made the announcement at the OTR SuperSprint in Tailem Bend

The young drivers will lead the team into the Gen3 era, with Erebus to campaign Camaros.

The team’s retention of Brown in particular all but ensures Will Davison will remain at Shell V-Power Racing Team.

Brown has been linked to Dick Johnson Racing, with Davison’s future with the Ford team unclear.

Davison has driven himself into pole position to retain his seat with an outstanding 2022 campaign.

Brown, meanwhile, languishes in 15th overall after seven rounds, with Kostecki ninth.

Kostecki has also made public his intention to compete in NASCAR.

Both drivers have committed to Erebus, which gave them their big break as full-time rookies last year.

Brown is Erebus’ most recent winner, having won at Sydney Motorsport Park last November.

Kostecki scored his maiden ARMOR ALL Pole Position at the same circuit in March.

"It’s awesome to re-sign with Erebus and have that continuity and loyalty with the team as we go into the next chapter," Brown said.

"Our journey together has been great so far and I want to thank Betty [Klimenko] and Barry [Ryan] for their continued support.

"There’s a lot of great people in the team, and we’ve seen throughout the last year that we can run right up the front.

Brown and Kostecki battling turbulent season

"I’ve got a great teammate in Brodie, and I wouldn’t want anyone else in the seat next to me.

"We’re both young, hungry drivers that want to do the best we can.

"Moving forward into Gen3 it’s going to be really important to have two solid drivers with a good team around you trying to push each other forward.

"I think we’ll be able to show what we can do and what we’re capable of."

Kostecki added: "Erebus is my family so it’s very exciting for me to be able to re-sign and look forward to the next two years together.

"We had a great start together last year in my rookie season and a great start to this year, and we continue to strive to be better.

"We’ve had some great results together and I want to make sure we can keep moving forward into Gen3.

"We have a great culture, and the team works very well together, and I know that’s going to be really important going into next year with a new car."
