Aussie hip hop legends Bliss n Eso blazed up the Boost Mobile Club 500 stage on Friday night.
The leading local act thrilled a massive crowd which packed into the Supercars concert.
Fans aged 18 and over, who had free entry to the concert care of a same day ticket to the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, crammed in to see the nine-time ARIA nominated act deliver some of their biggest hits, including the triple-platinum single ‘Moments (feat. Gavin James)’.
Their trademark show included pyrotechnics, beatboxing and live animations on a giant LED screen.
It’s the first concert Supercars has staged at its Gold Coast event since 2019.
A huge crowd filled the Macintosh Island fan precinct from the moment the final practice session, topped by Cam Waters, finished on Friday afternoon.
DJ Total Eclipse got the party started with a set featuring much-loved party anthems of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s prior to Bliss n Eso’s performance.
A spectacular fireworks display concluded the opening night at Club 500, featuring a fly board rider stunt show.
The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland as part of a growing calendar of sporting, cultural and regional events throughout the State.
The Boost Mobile Club 500 is back for the Surfers Paradise event and will host two more massive nights of music performances.
Saturday is an all-DJ mix including internationally renowned British DJ Carl Cox headlining with global special guest, DJ Eric Powell.
Sunday will feature local Gold Coast stars Brooke Evers and Kota Banks, before finishing with Australian dance music royalty, Sneaky Sound System.
Cars will return on Saturday for Race 31 ARMOR ALL Qualifying at 11:25am local time. Tickets are on sale now.
