Gravity, Supercars to deliver biggest ever production

Supercars Media and Gravity Media Australia today confirmed details for the all-encompassing coverage of the LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour.

The field, which includes 18 teams from six countries representing eight world-class brands including Audi, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, Lamborghini and BMW, will tackle Australia's internationally acknowledged endurance race at the iconic Mount Panorama across 3 – 5 February.

Drivers already confirmed include MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi, Bathurst legend Craig Lowndes, current Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen, reigning DTM champion Sheldon van der Linde, two-time Bathurst champion Chaz Mostert, Porsche factory pilot Matt Campbell and a host of leading drivers from here and abroad.

Across 24 track cameras and 23 in-car cameras, fans will be taken in the pits and around the track through state of the art high definition outside broadcast facilities, via 16 kilometres of broadcast cable and a total production crew of 100.

Gravity Media Australia and Supercars Media will capture every moment on Fox Sports, Kayo, the Seven Network and 7plus across race weekend.

In addition, coverage of this year’s race will be broadcast on Sky Sports NZ and around the world on YouTube through SRO’s 'GT World' platform and other international streaming partners. Radio Show Ltd, the home of Radio Le Mans, will also carry the international video and audio feed coverage.

This is the eighth year for Gravity Media’s broadcast facilities and technology collaboration with Supercars Media which produces the global and Australian television coverage of the LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour.

Gravity Media Australia also has a long partnership with Supercars Media in the television production of the Repco Bathurst 1000 and each of the rounds in the Repco Supercars Championship, including Gravity Media’s acknowledged speciality and in-car camera technologies.

Cars will hit the track at Mount Panorama for four practice sessions on Friday.
