Concerts, an outdoor cinema, food trucks, displays, and more
Race fans and Bathurst locals alike will be treated a range of entertainment options in Bathurst CBD this week, as Supercars takes over Russell Street as part of the Bathurst SuperFest.
This week’s attractions are part of the 10-day Bathurst SuperFest which features last weekend’s Repco Bathurst 12 Hour and the upcoming Thrifty Bathurst 500, which opens the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship season.
Located in front of the Bathurst Courthouse, the live site will host concerts, an outdoor cinema, food trucks, car and defence displays, and more every day through Thursday.
Thursday night’s attractions will feature a free concert from the Wiggles, followed by a full field Supercars signing session and for the first time, four Supercars driving into Bathurst CBD from Mount Panorama.
Supercars legend Craig Lowndes joined Bathurst Mayor Cr. Jess Jennings and Supercars COO Tim Watsford this morning on Russell Street to promote the live site, which tonight features live music from Mick Vawdon at 4:00pm AEDT, The Cry Babies from 5:30pm, and a showing of 'Ford vs Ferrari' from 7:30pm.
Live coverage of the Thrifty Bathurst 500, taking place February 23-25, can be found on the Seven and Foxtel families of networks.
Tickets to the 2024 Supercars season opener can be purchased via Ticketek, while campsites remain available via Supercars.com.
