Fans will vie for the chance to join the Supercars commentary team as part of a new Jands-backed competition associated with the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries.

WATCH: WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ACTION-PACKED ESERIES

First look: Official Eseries practice footage

A raw 30-second piece of footage will be posted on Supercars’ Facebook page each Thursday after an Eseries round; the season-opener is tonight.

From there fans will be tasked with adding a personalised video to show off their commentary skills on the on-track situation provided.

Competitors are to upload videos onto their personal Facebook or Instagram account using the hashtags #CommentateTheStars and #VASC by 12pm Monday.

The weekly Commentate The Stars winner will be announced during the next week’s Eseries broadcast, securing a minor prize of a Shure MV88+ video kit and putting themselves in the running for the major prize. You can view the full T&Cs here.

At the end of the 10-round Eseries, judges will select the top three winning entries, with those options to square off in a 24-hour Facebook poll for the public to decide on.

The overall winner will be announced on Friday June 19, winning a stellar prize pack including three tickets to a Supercars event in their local state.

The biggest carrot of the reward, however, is the chance to commentate a live session at that event with Supercars and learn from some of the best in the business in Chad Neylon and Matt Naulty.

Course car rides, grid walks and behind the scenes tours will also be provided for three people.

The BP Supercars All Stars Eseries gets underway at 7pm AEST, broadcast on Fox Sports, Kayo, 10 Play and Sky Sports New Zealand.
