Webb will race as a third Team Sydney entry alongside regular drivers Chris Pither and Alex Davison.

The 36-year-old is a four-time Supercars winner, with the Mountain being the site of his most recent and memorable triumph: the 2016 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 alongside Will Davison.

Prior to that, Webb enjoyed a respectable four-year solo career headlined by a win in the dramatic 2010 title decider at Homebush.

He then went on to co-drive with Shane van Gisbergen in 2014 and ’15, the pair forming a dynamic combination that won races at the Gold Coast in each year.

Webb has continued as a co-driver ever since; his plans for the 2020 PIRTEK Enduro Cup though are yet to be confirmed, with seats still available alongside both Pither and Davison.

Webb’s Eseries livery will be revealed in the lead-up to Wednesday night.

He becomes the second wildcard to join the Round 10 Eseries field, following news yesterday that Dunlop Super2 Series leader Brodie Kostecki will contest the finale.
