Jayden Ojeda gets a long-awaited full-time Supercars ride in 2026, joining a revamped PremiAir Racing outfit.

Although he may be classed as a rookie, Ojeda has gained a wealth of experience all around the world in recent years, carving out a reputation as a versatile driver.

Ojeda started racing karts from age seven and by 2010 was NSW state champion. A move to open wheelers quickly followed, where he became a winner in Formula Ford and Formula 4 champion in 2018.

A move to tin tops came in 2019, with Ojeda starring in the Super3 Series but narrowly missing out on the title to Broc Feeney, who would also beat him to the 2021 Super2 title.

Ojeda made wildcard starts for Walkinshaw Andretti United in 2022, but a full-time opportunity wouldn't present itself, with the Sydneysider turning his attention to the GT scene.

Once again he impressed, and in 2024 he was named a Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Junior Driver, a role he will maintain alongside his Supercars commitments this year.

Ojeda has also established himself as a top Supercars co-driver since the shift to Gen3, impressing at Matt Stone Racing, Erebus Motorsport, and Walkinshaw Andretti United.

It was with WAU last year that Ojeda had his finest hour in Supercars, putting he and Ryan Wood in a dominant position with a stirring wet weather drive, only for mechanical woes to take them out of contention.

It continued an affinity with Mount Panorama that has seen Ojeda become a two-time Bathurst 6 Hour winner, claiming victory with Simon Hodge and BMW in 2023 and 2024.

Ojeda made five starts for PremiAir in the final two events of last season, replacing Richie Stanaway.
