Triple Eight Race Engineering has banded together two vastly different drivers at the different ends of their careers for a shot at Bathurst glory.

Zach Bates has been partnered with seven-time Bathurst winner Craig Lowndes for the AirTouch 500 at The Bend and the Repco Bathurst 1000.

Bates, who hails from a motorsport family dynasty, is the 2024 Super2 champion. The Canberran will make a solo wildcard start at Queensland Raceway before joining Lowndes for the enduros.
