Hino backing will return for Scott Pye’s #20 Chevrolet Camaro for the next three rounds of the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship.

The truck company previously backed Pye’s Thrifty Newcastle 500 campaign.

Hino colours will be carried on the #20 at the betr Darwin Triple Crown, NTI Townsville 500 and Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.

The Hino colours on Pye’s Camaro will next week carry a special livery acknowledging Indigenous Round in Darwin.

“It’s fantastic to have Hino back on the car for the next three rounds after the first round with them in Newcastle,” Pye said.

“It was great to secure a top five finish in Tassie - it's a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.

“We've made significant strides in our performance and we’re looking forward to continuing that in Darwin.”

Team owner Charlie Schwerkolt added: “Hino has been an invaluable partner to our team, and we are grateful for their continued support, and that of our other partners."

Richard Emery, Vice President of Brand & Franchise Development for Hino Australia, said: “We are excited to extend our partnership with Team 18 to see the Hino #20 Camaro back on track for the Darwin, Townsville and Sydney rounds.

“Naming rights opportunities like this continue to deliver results for the Hino brand, our customers and dealers."

“Our relationship with Team 18 is a natural extension of our sponsorship of the Repco Supercars Championship,” he continued.

The #20’s Indigenous livery will be revealed to the public on Tuesday 13 June.

The 2023 season will resume at the betr Darwin Triple Crown on June 16-18. Tickets are on sale now.
