Supercars, Superbikes share Queensland Raceway in special stunt

The countdown to Queensland Raceway’s Supercars comeback has ramped up with a special two- and four-wheel stunt.
The Ipswich venue will host the upcoming Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 on August 8-10. The event will double as Round 8 of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, and the final round of the Repco Sprint Cup.
Whoever leads the points after the Ipswich round will lock in the first spot in Supercars’ brand-new Finals Series, with Broc Feeney in the box seat.
Stanaway drove his PremiAir Racing Chevrolet Camaro, while Canberra-born debutant Zach Bates got behind the wheel of his Triple Eight wildcard Camaro.
Australian Superbikes stars Mike Jones and Broc Pearson also took to the track for a special filming stunt, completing a two- and four-wheel crossover.
Shaun O’Brien, General Manager - Automotive, was excited to help bring Ipswich back into the Supercars fold for the first time in six years.

The is shaping up as a spectacular addition to the 2025 calendar, with fresh circuit upgrades being installed around the venue throughout the year in preparation for Supercars’ return to the 3.1-kilometre circuit.
