Supercars, Pizza Hut deliver Australia-first AR racing experience
Fans to take on and ‘Conquer’ Mount Pizzarama to win a Bathurst Experience
2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 takes place October 9-12
Supercars has partnered with Pizza Hut to launch an industry-first campaign that puts Australians behind the wheel of a Supercars — virtually — ahead of the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000.
The activation represents modern motorsport marketing at its very best: innovative, accessible, and commercially smart.
From August 15, Pizza Hut will be delivering specially marked Bathurst 1000 Pizza Hut pizza boxes nationwide, each featuring a QR code unlocking Mount Pizzarama, an augmented reality (AR) racing game that lets fans take the wheel of the Pizza Hut Supercar and tackle a virtual twist on the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit.
By playing the game and entering the Mount Pizzarama competition, fans will enter for a the chance to win a money-can’t-buy motorsport experience at the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000, including:
2x Four-Day General Admission tickets with paddock access
2x Course Car Rides
2x Grid Walks
2x Supercars Merchandise Packs
The competition runs from August 15 to September 26.
Supercars Head of Marketing Brenda Younes said the activation was a bold new way to bring fans closer to the sport.
“The Repco Bathurst 1000 is Australia’s Great Race, and through this innovative partnership with Pizza Hut, fans can experience the thrill of Mount Panorama from their own home,” Younes said.
“We’re proud to be the first sporting governing body in Australia to gamify augmented reality in this way, creating a fun and immersive link between our sport and its fans.”
Pizza Hut Chief Marketing Officer Wendy Leung said the collaboration was all about delivering something fresh and exciting.

T&DA is the Sydney-based creative design and technology agency that designed the gameplay. Executive Director Tyrone Estephan said “We’ve always been passionate about bringing sport to life in new and unexpected ways.
“For years, we’ve wanted to create an AR racing experience, but finding the right platform and partner was key. When this opportunity with Supercars and Pizza Hut came along, it felt like the perfect fit, a fun, interactive way to put fans right in the driver’s seat.”
The Repco Supercars Championship next hits the track at the AirTouch 500 at The Bend Motorsport Park on September 12-14 to kick off the Ryco Enduro Cup, before the Australian motorsport world shifts its focus to the Repco Bathurst 1000 on October 9-12. Tickets through Supercars.com.
