Chaz Mostert beats Anton De Pasquale to pole for Tasmania opener
Fox, KAYO, Sky NZ, SuperView take live coverage
Reigning champion Chaz Mostert has landed a major breakthrough in his quest to reach the Finals, scoring a maiden Boost Mobile Pole in Toyota colours at the Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440.
Mostert will share the front row with Team 18 spearhead Anton De Pasquale, with Brodie Kostecki third ahead of the impressive Andre Heimgartner.
Kostecki is currently under investigation for a potential impeding incident on rookie Jackson Walls in the first segment of qualifying, and could be penalised.
Penrite Racing's Tasmania qualifying woes continued, with Matt Payne 19th and Kai Allen 22nd. 2024 champion Will Brown, meanwhile, was only 12th behind rookie Jackson Walls.
Race 14 will commence at 1:00pm AEST. Fox Sports, Kayo Sports, and Sky NZ take live coverage. International fans can watch on SuperView.
