2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 campsites sell out in record time

Campsites for the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 have sold out in record time, less than 90 minutes after going on sale to the public Monday morning.

The sellout means over 7,000 campsites across Mount Panorama – which will host over 25,000 race fans – are spoken for nearly five months out from this year’s Great Race.

A record renewal period saw over 90% of campsites reserved by returning campers ahead of this morning’s sale, with the last sites snapped up just on 11:30am AEST.

Supercars chairman and interim CEO Barclay Nettlefold said the incredible result is a testament to the passion of Supercars fans and the allure of experiencing Australia’s Great Race in the flesh.

“This is a tremendous result for this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000,” Nettlefold said.

“After a record renewal period we knew the demand would be high, and our fans answered with the fastest sellout of campsites we have ever had.

“Camping at the Bathurst 1000 is an experience unlike any other, and we cannot wait to welcome tens of thousands of campers back to the Mountain in October this year.”

In addition to Australia’s most prestigious motor race, the Repco Bathurst 1000 is the largest annual camping gathering in the Southern Hemisphere.

Following today’s sellout, fans can expect Mount Panorama to be full yet again with Supercars’ loudest and proudest when the Championship returns to Bathurst later this year.

The Repco Bathurst 1000 takes place October 8-11, where Grove Racing’s Matt Payne will look to go back-to-back after 2025’s unforgettable Great Race.

A valid admission ticket to the Repco Bathurst 1000 must be purchased in addition to a campsite ticket.
