  • Fraser to race with favoured #777, which has started just 40 ATCC/Supercars races

PremiAir Racing will enter its new era with a new race number in 2026.

Jayden Ojeda and Declan Fraser will race the Roland Dane-led team's Chevrolet Camaros in 2026.

Confirmed Friday, Ojeda will run the #31 raced by James Golding between 2022 and 2025, while fellow recruit Fraser will make his PremiAir debut with his favoured #777.

PremiAir has allowed both drivers to pick their 2026 numbers, continuing a tradition for the team.

While the #31 was previously used by Golding, Ojeda stepped into the #62 entry vacated by Richie Stanaway for the final rounds of the 2025 season. The #31, however, was used by Ojeda through karting into Super2.

“The #31 was my number all through karting, from my first race to my last race,” Ojeda said.

“To have the opportunity to use it for my first full-time season in Supercars is awesome, and being able to have input into the numbers certainly gives us drivers a feeling of ownership for our race cars.

“I initially chose the #31 as I was born on the 31st of July. Now it reminds me of all of the memories of times spent with my family through karting, and the journey we have travelled to arrive to where we are today.”

The #777 is a rare number for the main game, and is a personal favourite for Fraser, who even has it tattooed on himself. Notably, Fraser carried the #777 to Super2 title glory in 2022.

“I won the Super2 championship carrying the #777 in 2022, and after that I even had it tattooed on my body. Clearly, it is something pretty close to me now,” Fraser said.

“While personally significant for that reason, it is a very cool number in and of itself, and given that it is one that is relatively rare in Supercars, I am pretty stoked to be able to play a part in bringing it back to the grid.”

PremiAir team owner Peter Xiberras added: “I have always liked to give my drivers the chance to choose their own race numbers, as I think it gives them that sense of ownership and a connection with their car right from the outset.

“I am very pleased with the numbers the boys have selected. Obviously #31 was on Jimmy Golding’s entry last year, but ‘Juice’ has his own reasons for selecting this number and we will be proud to see him carry on his history with these digits with us this season.

“Just as the #31 does for Jayden, the #777 represents great success and carries deep personal significance for Declan. To be able to make it happen for him that he can carry the #777 for his return to full-time Supercars duties with us is something we are very happy about. And the fact it is a rare number as far as Supercars goes is pretty cool as well."

Ojeda and Fraser will commence their new seasons in Sydney on February 20-22.
