Matt Payne, Brodie Kostecki to share front row
39-lap Race 26 will commence at 12:45pm local time
Fox, KAYO, Sky NZ, SuperView take live coverage
Matt Payne flexed his championship muscle with another Boost Mobile Pole, denying Brodie Kostecki and Chaz Mostert in a thrilling session.
Payne, who can win the Repco Sprint Cup on Saturday, popped Kostecki and Mostert by 0.025s and 0.081s respectively at Queensland Raceway. Will Brown out-qualified teammate Broc Feeney, with Kai Allen sixth.
Payne, Kostecki, Mostert and Brown all dipped below the Gen3 practice/qualifying lap record, set by Feeney last year.
Wildcards Ben Gomersall, Bayley Hall and Aaron Seton will start from 20th, 25th and 27th.
Race 26 will commence at 12:45pm AEST. Fox Sports, Kayo Sports, and Sky NZ take live coverage. International fans can watch on SuperView.
