A Gen3 Ford Mustang Supercar is set to make a surprise cameo in Ireland.
Red Bull will showcase a Gen3 Supercar at an upcoming Drift Masters event at Mondello Park in Caragh, County Kildare, approximately 50 kilometres from Dublin.
Red Bull Ireland announced the cameo of the Aussie Supercar, which will be a showpiece attraction of the June 13-14 event.
The cameo comes at Round 3 of the Drift Masters season, which will take place at Ireland’s only international motorsport venue.
The Mondello Drift Masters event takes a week before the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship resumes at the betr Darwin Triple Crown on June 19-21.
The car is the Dick Johnson Racing-built Mustang owned by Ford, which has been based in the United States since Supercars embarked on category wind tunnel testing in the 2023/24 off-season.
Max Verstappen got behind the wheel of the car for a series of runs earlier this year in Las Vegas, before Supercars Hall of Famer Jamie Whincup stepped in last month in Miami.
Whincup lapped the car at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Red Bull Ampol Racing's 2026 Supercars livery, while Verstappen carried special Red Bull blue and red colours.
With the car in Europe, the Mustang could also be in line to make an appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 9-12.
V8 Supercar machinery is no stranger to Goodwood's famous hillclimb, with an ex-DJR Team Penske Gen2 Ford, ex-Ford Performance Racing BA Falcon and Walkinshaw VE Commodore all making cameos in recent years.
