Erebus unveils striking new look, sponsor for Jobe Stewart Camaro
Erebus rookie to carry striking black and yellow of SOLO Energy
Supercars Melbourne SuperSprint action commences Thursday
Erebus Motorsport has uncovered bold new colours and naming rights for Jobe Stewart's Albert Park Supercars debut.
The Erebus rookie will carry the striking black and yellow of SOLO Energy at this weekend’s Melbourne SuperSprint, which will be held on the Formula 1 undercard.
Stewart will run with rolling partners on his #9 Chevrolet Camaro this season, having raced under the Chiko banner at last month's DUNLOP Sydney 500.
The 2023 Super3 champion sits 23rd in the points after a challenging debut in Sydney, headlined by a loose wheel in the final race.
"Racing at the Australian Grand Prix is something every driver looks forward to," said Stewart.
"To have SOLO Energy on board as major partner for Melbourne, and to roll out such a bright, eye-catching car, is incredibly special. It looks unreal. I can't wait to see it out on track."
Erebus COO Carly Hammersley added: "The Australian Grand Prix is one of the biggest events on the calendar, and to have SOLO Energy step up as Major Partner for Jobe's #9 Camaro is fantastic.
"The car looks sensational, it's bright, it's bold so it suits the occasion. We're proud to represent SOLO Energy on such a major stage."
On track action at Albert Park begins tomorrow, with the opening practice session of the weekend commencing at 10:35am local time.
